About

VERSO is a contemporary art gallery based in Lisbon, dedicated to fostering dialogue and creative exchange between artists across the Global South and Europe.

Founded in 2026 with a commitment to rigorous curation, the gallery provides a platform for both emerging and established voices whose work engages with identity, materiality, spatial politics, and contemporary social realities.

In addition to an active annual exhibitions program in Lisbon and participation in premier international art fairs, VERSO produces scholarly monographs, artist editions, and critical publications to document and support the long-term trajectories of represented artists.
