Silence & Space

Opening the 2026 calendar, Verso invites you to the opening of À Gente. It is a collective exhibition that brings into dialogue artists who have crossed paths with the gallery over the past year and invited artists.

In Brazilian Portuguese, 'a gente' means both 'the people' and 'us': shared sensibilities and belonging built collectively. The exhibition brings together works that investigate this plurality as celebration, ritual, and feast, while others point towards a human meaning beyond fixed boundaries — recalling the etymology of the word as earth (humus), matter, and cohabitation.

The exhibition thus proposes to bring people closer to Verso's curatorial vision to date and the forthcoming horizons for the new year.
